Chef Nina Boechler of Spice Works will be joining us for another exciting evening of Indian Cuisine.


Chef Nina's exposure to unique foods began in London, England where her family owned and operated several 5 star hotels and restaurants. After several years in the industry she opened a gourmet specialty food store in Ocean Park where she created a popular line of exotic and ethnic dishes. Currently, Nina has a complete line of ethnic sauces, marinades, dips and seasonings under the label Spice Works some of which are available in our store.

The New Wilton Flower and Cake Design (Course 2)

Course 2 consists of 4 x 2 hour sessions.

Make the perfect cake!

In Flowers and Cake Design, you’ll explore sophisticated ways to bring your cakes and desserts to life! Your Wilton Method Instructor will teach you to create breathtaking icing flowers such as pansies, lilies and the famous Wilton Rose. Then, you’ll discover the secrets of arranging them in a beautifully balanced cake-top bouquet. Your amazing flowers will be framed by an impressive boarder treatment or basket weave design. With the skills you learn here and your ability to make flowers in advance using gum paste and fondant or royal icing, you can create beautiful blooms at your convenience, ready to place on any cake.

Supplies are extra. On class evenings a 10% discount will be offered on your purchases.

The focus of tonight's class is Greek favourites that the whole family will love… even the most discriminating kids! Waldemar is an executive chef with 15 years of transatlantic cooking experience from Europe and North America.

Having worked with some of the most well-known restauranteurs in New York and LA, he came to Canada three years ago as the executive chef for one of White Rock's favorite hotspots on Marine Drive.

Between teaching cooking classes at Kitchen Therapy and providing food edutainment to his catering clientele, he is now building his commercial show kitchen in downtown Vancouver.  This central food hub will be hosting cooking classes, and private & corporate catering services.
